During Öland’s Harvest Festival, the Camerata Nordica Octet invites you to an exclusive concert evening at VIDA Museum & Konsthall, just before the ensemble travels to the USA to perform the same program at, among other venues, the prestigious Carnegie Hall. The audience is invited on a musical journey with a program that ranges from the intimate and familiar to the world-renowned.
The repertoire spans from atmospheric traditional folk music and Hanna Helgegren’s The Nordic Seasons, via Shostakovich’s dramatic and youthful Two Pieces for String Octet, to Felix Mendelssohn’s utterly ingenious and exuberant String Octet in E-flat major. Don’t miss this chance to experience world-class international music.
