“International Chamber Music in the Heart of Öland” Amidst rolling fields and blooming gardens in northern Öland, we find one of the summer’s most unique cultural experiences – the Öland Chamber Players festival at Anna’s Farm in Husvalla and Källa Gamla Kyrka.

The 2025/2026 season opening begins with a long-awaited reunion of French violist Manuel Vioque-Judde, who together with Camerata Nordica will perform two late works by Beethoven and Shostakovich.

Camerata Nordica Chamber Ensemble presents Franz Schubert’s expansive and richly orchestrated Octet in F major, D. 803—a six-movement masterpiece inspired by Beethoven’s Septet and infused with Schubert’s own lyrical themes, composed in 1824 for clarinetist Ferdinand Troyer.

This October, Camerata Nordica travels across the Atlantic for its very first tour of the United States. The program brings together Nordic creativity, classical masterpieces, and powerful 20th-century expression.

100 years ago, Axel “Döderhultarn” Petersson passed away in his studio in Oskarshamn. Now, the anniversary year 2025 will conclude with a brand-new musical, featuring 130 choir singers, soloists, dancers, and orchestra.

This February, Camerata Nordica returns to the United States, embarking on a transatlantic tour highlighted by its New York debut at Carnegie Hall. The program weaves together Nordic imagination, classical masterpieces, and the expressive power of 20th-century music.

This concert features a fusion of classical, jazz, and folk music styles, performed in collaboration with Gotlandsmusiken.

Andrey Baranov returns as leader and soloist to Camerata Nordica to perform Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in a new arrangement for violin and string orchestra.

Camerata Nordica, with harpist Erik Groenestein-Hendriks, presents a unique program showcasing the harp, flute, and clarinet.

This Palm Sunday we are invited to listen to the Passion story in a musical language that can best be described as a blend of the great Bach and Swedish folk-inspired chorales.

Yoga concert with a classical twist!

Led by Zéphyrin Rey-Bellet, Camerata Nordica presents a program highlighting its diverse musicians and their instruments, moving from classical and contemporary works to a finale rooted in Nordic traditions.

As part of the inauguration of the Cathedral’s new altar organ, this concert offers the opportunity to hear it as an ensemble instrument together with Camerata Nordica, including Francis Poulenc’s Organ Concerto in G minor.

We will enjoy gems by some of the foremost composers of the Baroque era — works by Heinrich Schütz and cantatas by Dietrich Buxtehude. All performed in the Cathedral’s beautiful acoustics with the participation of the visiting choir Älmhult Vocal Ensemble, conducted by Boel Dougan.

After nearly 30 years leading LSO – Länsungdomstråkorkestern, Torbjörn Westman is retiring. Join us for three festive farewell concerts across Kalmar County, where LSO performs alongside professional musicians from Camerata Nordica, with YLO opening each evening.

Most of us associate The Seasons with Vivaldi's timeless work for violin and orchestra – and of course we will hear it during the festival in a first-class performance. Don't miss the chance to experience these works live – as beloved today as when they were composed in the early 1700s! In addition to Vivaldi, we are also treated to Piazzolla's tango-inspired version. We look forward to visit Kullabygden for the first time, who together with Kerson, to close the festival with an irresistible programme!

Ten years of music, friendship and the unique atmosphere of Öland. Öland Chamber Players marks its anniversary with four concerts spanning some of the greatest works in the chamber music repertoire. At the heart of the festival is a jubilee concert at Vida Museum with the brilliant Canadian violinist Kerson Leong and Camerata Nordica. A celebration in music of a decade well spent.
