The concert
For the very first time, we’re offering a Relaxed Performance – a concert designed to be enjoyed by everyone, exactly as they are. This performance is intentionally adapted to be welcoming to all, including neurodivergent individuals, people with disabilities, and families with young children. Whether you find traditional concert etiquette restrictive or you simply prefer a more informal way to experience live music, this space is for you.
What makes it different?
You are free to move, make noise, dance, or sing along during the concert. This is a judgment-free environment where everyone can experience the music on their own terms. If you need to step out for a moment, that is absolutely fine – our doors will remain open throughout the performance so you can come and go as you please. You are also welcome to choose the spot that feels best for you, whether that means a standard seat or sitting on the floor right up front near the musicians. We want you to feel at home.
What will you hear?
Over 40 minutes, you’ll discover the whole family of orchestral instruments up close: violin, viola, cello and double bass, harp, oboe, clarinet, flute, bassoon, trumpet, trombone and percussion. The program is full of fun, lively pieces drawn from our New Year concert repertoire: music that sparkles, surprises, and brings a smile.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to fall in love with the orchestra – perhaps for the very first time.
Practical info
Personal assistants attend free of charge, and the venue is equipped with an elevator and several dedicated wheelchair spaces. Our staff will be stationed at the entrance to answer any questions, assist with seating, or provide any support you might need.
