The concert

This October, Camerata Nordica Chamber Ensemble travels across the Atlantic for its very first tour of the United States. The program brings together Nordic creativity, classical masterpieces, and powerful 20th-century expression.

At the heart of the tour is Seasons, a brand-new work by Swedish composer Hanna Helgegren, commissioned by Camerata Nordica and performed with film projections that capture the beauty of Sweden’s landscapes. Alongside this, the ensemble performs Mendelssohn’s youthful and exuberant Octet, Shostakovich’s gripping Two Pieces for String Octet,

As part of the program the ensemble will participate as well to several outreach and community concerts.
